Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 12:56PM Our recent move has me totally thrown for a loop. After months of our Leavenworth home sitting on the market, we have decided to take it off and move back there. It is a ½ acre nestled in the heart of the Bavarian Village. It actually sits on its own little island. Busy tourists walk by our home with high-frequency, some without even noticing we are there – in plain site.
We love our home, and plan to make it our last move for quite awhile (this is our 7th in 9 years!) We bought the 2 bedroom home way before the market went berserk when we had only one infant. When first job searching after staying home with my children for 7 years, I ran into 2 major road blocks. The first was that I was often considered over-qualified for the job I was applying for. The second was that I had been out of the work force too long, or in other words-not enough experience. So how does a woman begin to look for a job when she has stayed home with her children?
