    Oh Me, Oh My....Ohme Gardens

    It has been awhile since we lasted posted on local businesses. It is not because we have not been out there exploring. If you follow us on Twitter or Facebook you will see our 3-4 times weekly adventures. We are screamin’ along at Summertime speeds with little time to be “plugged in.” I will have more reviews soon....but trust me, you want to know about our adventure today, and I WANT to share it.

    Sleepy Hollow Nursery

    This is not a Mothers’ Day article although my experience at Sleepy Hollow Nursery added to my best Mothers’ Day yet. Even if it was not a beautiful day, even if it was rainy, and even if I hadn’t had a wonderful morning including yummy eggs benedict brunch, being at Sleepy Hollow Nursery would have made my day!

    On the drive there, I was curious as to what we were in store for. Our mission: flowers for the deck. My warning sensors went up as we cornered the drive around a gigantic, and not all too attractive green building. It looks like the green houses back in the day which were literally green.     We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE going to the dentist!!! My eight-year had her first experience with Dr. Schroeder after being diagnosed with a bicuspid occlusion cavity. Basically she had a tiny cavity on one of her molars. After our regular dentist tried to correct her decay and found she was “too wiggly” he referred us to Dr. Cara Schroeder.
