    CLOSET DIVA

    SIZE 8!!! But not ready to celebrate

    This week has been a little rough trying to get back on the workout wagon.  I am sore, tired and really want a glass (or bottle - noonw can say for sure) of viognier at the end of the day.  Today's cardio took two sessions.  I was so winded after 10 minutes, I took a walk around the house to collect my breath.

    After another 15 mintues, I cooled down, took a shower and started getting ready for my day.  That's when I spied a pair of size 8 jeans that I have not worn in almost 2 years.  I considered to give it a go.  I squeezed in, buttoned them and sat down.  Now I DID fit into them.  I just could not breath whiling sitting.  Standing yes, but once I sat, it pushed all my intestines, kidneys, bladder and other organs into my diaphram, lungs and chest cavity.  Oh well, maybe next time....end of March!

    Week 2 - Back at it

    So each week I get to take one day off from my workouts and menu.  That was yesterday...I ate nachos and had a few beers.  This morning I feel like I am ready for the new week. 

    At Mission Ridge I ran into 3 of you who have checked in on my journey to thin.  Thanks for the hug Summer and thanks for the words of encouragement Michelle!  That is precisely why I put myself out there.  I know I need those exact thoughtful encounters. 

     

    Good news! - I lost 5 lb this week.  I know it is simply the beginning but what a way to start.  I am consuming at least 1500 calories each day, drinking lots of water and putting in my dues at the gym.  This is the plan I have designed to lose the fat and gaint he lean muscle.  Today I have a 20 minute interval workout with some ab work to look forward to.

     

    Tomorrow - I go back to the gym to lift my lower body.  Another goal would be to straighten out my winery 2010 budget, and to clean my office.

    Day Three - oops

    So I am not writing this day off as a total loss.  I missed my first goal to have an early morning stretch.  Addie woke at 3pm, so Scott thoughtfully turned off the alarm that came at 5:30.  No worries though.  I did get in a decent stretch before shuttling Tori off to school. And another tonight.

    My second goal I missed totally!  I planned to lift my lower body.  I hoped to get to town for two performance reviews for employees at the winery and scoot out by 1pm.  Not happening.  Both

    Day two - Cardio and crunches

    So I met my goals for today: 

    FYI - Goals for Tuesday, January 5th – DAY TWO 

    1. 20 minutes of Cardio
    2. write the 2nd week of my menu
    3. buy bananas, and rest of grocery list
